Sunset ignites the Badlands of South Dakota in this print, the setting sun deepening the eroded buttes into bands of crimson, gold and violet shadow. As night approaches, the ancient rock ridges smoulder with colour across the wide western sky.
A vivid piece for anyone who has watched the sun sink over the Badlands, or longs for the open American West.
Destination write-up
Here’s the write-up that features on your print.
In the rugged heartland of South Dakota, a land of otherworldly beauty and ancient stories unfolds. Badlands National Park, a symphony of carved canyons, jagged rock formations, and expansive prairies, captivates the senses and invites you to embark on a journey through a surreal landscape.
Enter a realm where time has chiseled the earth, leaving behind a maze of layered rock formations that seem to defy gravity. The Badlands, with their mesmerizing hues of red, orange, and gold, stretch as far as the eye can see, their sharp ridges and deep crevices telling a tale of erosion and resilience. Explore their mysterious depths, where hidden fossils and remnants of ancient life whisper secrets from millions of years ago.
As you venture deeper into the park, the rugged terrain gives way to vast prairies that sprawl beneath the vast expanse of the sky. Golden grasses sway in the breeze, revealing a delicate beauty that harmonizes with the untamed spirit of the Badlands. Be one with the land as you hike along the trails.
Print size & quality
Every piece is printed on thick, 175gsm fine-art matte paper with archival inks — so the colours stay rich, deep and true for years, with no fading and no fuss. Before it heads your way, it's wrapped in soft tissue to keep it scratch-free and sent out in a sturdy kraft tube or a robust triangular kraft box (never plastic).

Framing options
Fancy it ready to hang? Add a solid pine frame — sturdy, handsome and built to last. Take your pick from black, natural wood, or white. Each one is 20–25mm deep and 10–14mm wide: the sweet spot between strength and understated good looks.
We finish every frame with shatterproof, crystal-clear plexiglass to keep your print pristine — and it arrives already framed, so it goes straight from the box to your wall with no faff.
