This print captures Charlotte by night — the glowing skyscrapers of North Carolina's banking hub lighting up beneath a brooding, cloud-heavy sky. The photograph holds the moody, modern energy of the Queen City after dark.
A dramatic piece for Charlotteans, city-lovers and anyone drawn to the glow of a Southern skyline against the night.
Destination write-up
Here’s the write-up that features on your print.
Nestled in the rolling hills of the Piedmont region, Charlotte emerges as a captivating tapestry of tradition and progress. As the largest city in North Carolina, this metropolis is affectionately known as the Queen City, a title it wears gracefully. Modern skyscrapers pierce the skyline, narrating a story of economic dynamism and growth, while historic districts like Dilworth and NoDa whisper tales of a more nostalgic era, with Victorian-style homes and brick-lined streets.
Amidst the urban hustle, Charlotte embraces a cultural renaissance evident in its diverse culinary offerings, from upscale restaurants to foodie-centric neighborhoods. The lively rhythm of the city pulses through venues hosting live music, and green spaces like Freedom Park offer a serene escape for those seeking a breath of fresh air.
With the NASCAR Hall of Fame paying homage to its racing legacy and the Mint Museum showcasing an array of art, Charlotte harmonizes its rich heritage with a contemporary beat.
Print size & quality
Every piece is printed on thick, 175gsm fine-art matte paper with archival inks — so the colours stay rich, deep and true for years, with no fading and no fuss. Before it heads your way, it's wrapped in soft tissue to keep it scratch-free and sent out in a sturdy kraft tube or a robust triangular kraft box (never plastic).
