This print captures Galway reflected in a rain-washed puddle, the city's colourful shopfronts and streetlife mirrored in the wet cobbles after an Atlantic shower. The photograph catches an atmospheric, everyday moment of one of Ireland's most spirited cities.
A characterful piece for anyone who knows Galway's rainy charm, or loves the music and colour of Ireland's west.
Destination write-up
Here’s the write-up that features on your print.
Galway, where stories come alive, and the spirit of Ireland dances through the streets. Along the rugged Atlantic coast, this enchanting town is a timeless treasure. Cobblestone lanes wind through a tapestry of vibrant facades, each whispering tales of days gone by. The Spanish Arch, a weathered sentinel, watches over the bustling port, echoing the city's maritime history.
Here, traditional pubs beckon with the promise of pints and the sweet melodies of Irish folk music, tugging at your heartstrings. Eyre Square, a lively gathering place, is a patchwork of picnics and laughter when the sun graces the green lawns. Beyond the town's embrace lies Connemara, a wild, untamed landscape where rolling hills kiss the rocky shore, and the Twelve Bens Mountains stand sentinel.
And the people, ah, the people of Galway! Their warmth envelops you like a cherished embrace, and the lyrical lilt of their speech is music to your ears. They share the city's history and folklore with a passion that's infectious.
Print size & quality
Every piece is printed on thick, 175gsm fine-art matte paper with archival inks — so the colours stay rich, deep and true for years, with no fading and no fuss. Before it heads your way, it's wrapped in soft tissue to keep it scratch-free and sent out in a sturdy kraft tube or a robust triangular kraft box (never plastic).
