Lily Collins and Sam Claflin play Rosie and Alex, best friends from childhood in Dublin who spend twelve years missing their chance with each other as life pulls them to opposite sides of the Atlantic. It adapts Where Rainbows End, the second novel by P.S. I Love You author Cecelia Ahern. German director Christian Ditter began filming in Toronto in 2013 before moving the production to Dublin and the harbour village of Howth.
