This is Night of the Creeps (1986), like you've never seen it before... told entirely in colour. Fred Dekker wrote the script in a week, packed it with every B-picture cliché he could recall, and named nearly every character after a horror director: Romero, Carpenter, Raimi, Landis, Hooper, Cronenberg, Cameron, Craven and Bava among them. Tri-Star put it into seventy cinemas in August 1986 and it took under $600,000. Dekker's original ending did not resurface until Sony's 2009 disc, which is when most people finally caught up with it.
