Drift above the Rock Islands, a maze of mushroom-shaped isles sculpted by tide and time, and dive into Jellyfish Lake, where golden jellyfish pulse harmlessly around you. Explore the coral gardens of the Ngemelis wall, alive with reef sharks and manta rays. In Koror, the old capital, stilted bai meeting houses recall centuries of tradition, their painted gables telling stories.
Beyond the water, Palau reveals a culture rooted in respect for the sea. Villages observe bul, ancestral conservation laws that protect fish stocks and reef health.
