ParaNorman Movie Barcode Poster

Laika's second feature after Coraline, written and co-directed by Chris Butler with Sam Fell. It was the first stop-motion film to use colour 3D printing for its replacement faces, which gave Norman alone thousands of interchangeable parts to work with. Focus released it in August 2012, it took modest money against its cost, and it was nominated for Best Animated Feature alongside Frankenweenie, the other stop-motion film that year about a boy and the dead.
