Bela Lugosi died with only a few minutes of silent test footage shot, so Ed Wood finished the part using his wife's chiropractor holding a cape across his face. The score is stock library music, the flying saucers are what you think they are, and a 1980 book naming it the worst film ever made turned it into a permanent fixture. Wood meant every frame of it.
