On Northern Ireland's Causeway Coast, where the Atlantic meets the land in restless conversation, Portstewart unfolds along its golden curve of sand. A genteel Victorian town of terraced promenades and windswept dunes, it invites you to slow your pace and breathe the salt air deep.
Walk the Strand, that sweeping two-mile beach backed by the grassy folds of the dunes, where surfers ride the swell beneath a wide, changeable sky. Follow the cliff path from the harbour past O'Hara's Castle towards the mouth of the River Bann.
