The ogre returns and, arguably, betters the original: newlyweds Shrek and Fiona journey to the kingdom of Far Far Away to meet her royal parents, who are decidedly unimpressed by their green son-in-law. Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy reprise the bickering double act, joined by Antonio Banderas as a scene-stealing, sword-swishing Puss in Boots. Sharper, funnier and packed with fairy-tale satire, it became one of the most successful animations ever made.
