This is The Monster Squad (1987), like you've never seen it before... told entirely in colour. Shane Black wrote it with Fred Dekker between Lethal Weapon and Predator, and it sets Dracula, the Wolf Man, the Mummy, the Gill-man and Frankenstein's monster against a gang of twelve-year-olds. Stan Winston had to redesign every creature so as not to infringe Universal's makeup copyrights, which is why they all look almost, but not quite, right. It flopped, went out on video, and has been quoted in playgrounds ever since.
