This is The Road to El Dorado (2000), like you've never seen it before... told entirely in colour. DreamWorks conceived it as a Hope and Crosby road picture with Kevin Kline and Kenneth Branagh as the double act, and hired Elton John and Tim Rice to repeat what they had done at Disney. The production was long and much revised, ending up with two credited directors, and it lost money against a budget somewhere near $95 million. Hans Zimmer and John Powell wrote the score around the songs.
