This is Three Amigos! (1986), like you've never seen it before... told entirely in colour. Steve Martin, Lorne Michaels and Randy Newman wrote it together over several years, at one stage with Martin, Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray in the three parts. Newman also wrote the songs and sings one himself as the Singing Bush, which may be the oddest credit on any John Landis picture. The Mexican village was built at Old Tucson, with more of the location work done in the hills outside Los Angeles.
