Matthew Perry plays Oscar, a Chicago architect whose big-money client, Dylan McDermott, assumes he is gay and asks him to keep an eye on his mistress, Neve Campbell. The trouble is that Oscar falls for her, and can't say so without losing the job. Made at the height of Perry's Friends fame, the film plays its mistaken identity for screwball laughs, with Oliver Platt as Oscar's business partner.
