This is Trading Places (1983), like you've never seen it before... told entirely in colour. Written for Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor and recast when that pairing fell through, which handed Eddie Murphy his second film. John Landis cast Jamie Lee Curtis against her horror typecasting and brought back Don Ameche, who had not had a film part in over a decade. An American regulation of 2010 restricting trades based on misappropriated government reports was nicknamed the Eddie Murphy Rule after the ending.
