This is the original patent drawing for a ukulele, granted on 20 November 1928 as patent 1,692,207 to inventor Harry E. Hall. The sheet sets out that petite body, slender neck and fretted fingerboard in tidy elevation, the bridge and soundhole marked with care to show how such a small frame produces such a cheerful, chiming tone.
