This is the original patent drawing for a watering can, granted on 14 March 1972 as patent 3,648,933 to inventor Edward C. Grotz. The sheet lays out the body, handle, long spout and sprinkling rose in tidy detail, showing how the whole vessel is shaped to pour a gentle, even shower over thirsty seedlings.

There's a homely charm in it — the quiet rhythm of tending a garden, distilled into clean, methodical line and set down with real affection.
