This is You're Next (2011), like you've never seen it before... told entirely in colour. Adam Wingard and Simon Barrett made it in Missouri for a little over a million dollars, staffed largely from the American independent horror scene, with Ti West and Joe Swanberg turning up in front of the camera. It premiered at Toronto in 2011 and Lionsgate then sat on it for nearly two years before a wide release in August 2013. Sharni Vinson, a trained dancer, does most of the physical work in the second half.
